WINTER STORM TARGETS UPPER MIDWEST and NORTHERN PLAINS then moves EAST
The National Weather Service is forecasting a winter storm event that will begin in the Dakotas and track southeastward toward Chicago on Monday and Tuesday eventually then heads for the Atlantic coast. Snow accumulations are expected to be heavy with some areas as much as a 12 inches or more from the eastern Dakotas into western Wisconsin. Chicago is also on target for heavy snow.
