No one seeks God. We are incapable of seeking God unless He draws us first. Salvation is from God gift of grace. He calls those who He knows. And will not end it all until all His children have come.

Did you always have that awesome intro or is that new? Amen as well. This is another realization that I have yet to truly touch upon, even our faith, in its own way, is a gift. I believe freewill is mixed in here in the sense that the bible affirms many are called but few are chosen. On some level, as far as I can tell, everyone on the face of the earth is called unto salvation, which is why none of them have any excuse. But for varying reasons, many reject God. There's no better example I can think of then the parable that speaks to the turning unto the gentiles. Mat 22:8  Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.  Mat 22:9  Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.  What makes these even more potent, is the fact that it speaks of worthiness, since people love to run to the chapter of revelations and turn the overcome verse into a clause for personal righteousness even in the face of 1 John 5:4-5. What made them unworthy? The fact they refused the invitation. What is the invitation? The call to salvation. Why was the one person thrown out? Because he came in without Christ. When a man does come to the end of himself and realize his need for a savior however, he STILL needs God's assistance to separate the lies from deceit. 1Pe 5:10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  This verse is referring to maturity on all accounts, but I think the context can just as well apply to those who are still in the phase of seeking after God. And we know from Romans 11 that God will acquire all of this elect, the fullness of the gentiles, before the tribulation starts. This also includes of course those Jews who are willing to turn to Jesus Christ since there is neither Jew nor Greek.

I have used a few different intros in the past. Freedom mentioned you in a comment. I think he said you said we do seek God. But wasn’t sure. Asked if I follow Calvinist beliefs. I do believe we all have no reason to say there is no God. Scripture speaks on this. But we do have freewill. Calvinist don’t believe we do. But being OSAS people ask how I can believe in freewill. Lol.

@Defending the faith. Yup, it's a fine line between freewill election & chosen election. But God clearly has elect in the bible. I've been accused of being a Calvinist before, I had to make a rebuke video about it and praise the Lord the guilty parties repented.

@Diamondustification we read the scripture. And stick to it. Seems many are asking if Calvinism is right. Maybe because they hear so many go against Calvinist. I have went against many. But they do speak a lot of truth. And they are saved. But they get some things wrong.

I've heard brother Jesse say we do seek the Lord but I forgot what lesson he did. what do you think about this verse: And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. I do not believe in what Calvinist say on some. But they get a lot right. But the scripture I read says no one seeks God. Yet once He stirs our heart. We Can seek Him. You believe in OSAS. So this should make more sense. He calls us. Nothing we do. Our works are filthy rags. Jesus did the work on the cross.

Many Calvinist I know. Think God on elects certain people. And if they are not elected. They can’t be saved. I don’t believe that. We do have freewill. We can choose to respond to His call.

@Defending the faith. That's a hard one I don't get but God is God and he can do what he wants. It almost sounds like he chooses us but he still holds us accountable to choose him. Seeking God, then, is an ongoing responsibility and privilege for all Christians.

This is one way I realized that once we are saved. It’s eternal. We can’t lose it. Because He did it. Many have a problem with OSAS. And I understand that. We are not taught about it in church. Probably because the church will have no control over believers. That’s my take. I love going to church and fellow shipping with my brothers and sisters. But I sometimes have a hard time with what the pastors say. And much of what pastors have told us growing up has stuck in our heads.

In fact David speaks of seeking Him like a lover , Meaning this same type of passion and purpose to get closer to the one you Love . To get to know them .
