According to Rep. Jamies Raskin we have an overwhelming policy consensus in America about what we need to do about gun violence and we have an overwhelming judicial consensus about what is constitutional to do. He stated that they just need to isolate the problem and dislodge the paralysis that is in Washington D.C. as bloodshed engulfs our society.
His findings reveal that 97% of the American people favor a universal criminal and mental background check on all firearm purchases in America. That's the overwhelming majority of Republicans, Democrats, Independents, gun owners, non gun owners...almost everyone in America. They agree that firearms should not be sold without a background check so criminals, and gang members, and terrorists cannot go to a gun show and acquire a weapon of war and use it in our schools, churches, movie theaters, and public square. And every PUBLIC OPINION POLL continues to show the same thing and the numbers are going up.

You can be certain that the progression of America is moving our country toward MORE STRICTER GUN REGULATIONS and increasing DIFFICULTY IN OWNING GUNS as more and more people categorize them as "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION" or "ASSAULT WEAPONS" inviting more manufactured terms and definitions to further complicate the already complex laws, statutes, and ordinances that engulf and infringe on the rights of We the People.
But as you notice here THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION is making it known that PUBLIC OPINON POLLS indicate that that is what the majority of Americans want to have as stated here by Rep. Jamie Raskin. But I do not remember anyone asking me my opinion on the matter so I wonder how accurate are these statistics.
In the meantime I hope that the Naitonal Rifle Association (the NRA) along with their representatives including President Wayne LaPierre and Spokeswoman Dana Loesch along with other concerned gun owners of America can protect the rights of We the People from unnecessary additional gun regulations. Instead we would prefer that sentence against any evil work across this country would be executed speedily against anyone who commits such crimes otherwise the hearts of the sons of men will be fully set in them to do more evil:

Many of these ENEMIES OF AMERICA including LAWLESS LAWMAKERS, CHILDREN ACTIVISTS, the MAINSTREAM MEDIA, and other enemies of America are threatening the U.S. CONSTITUTION and calling it "common sense." Have we lost our "common sense" in America in dealing with criminals that we should further restrict We the People and our guns? Time will tell...
