Manning has no time to preach the word of God
He doesn't know it anyway. He's a hireling:

But he doesn't even preach the gospel of Christ nor does he even teach the word of God in truth:
Here's what God says about him:
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
