Concerns are rising that sanctions will be imposed on Russia as pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine plan to hold a referendum to secede on Sunday. Russia may cut off oil supplies with Western nations as the sanctions are introduced. Heavy fighting continues over much of eastern and southern portions of Ukraine as tensions rise between pro-Russian separatist rebels and both Ukraine citizens and military. The situation is worsening while Russia celebrates its Victory and flaunts its display of force while ongoing heavy fighting continues inside Ukraine:
