There something not very good about this report.  This is more than an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION and there will likely be consequences if it was shot down.  This is not good!

The latest reports say it was a MAJOR TECHNICAL ISSUE.  A TECHNICAL ISSUE on an Airbus probably means loss of flight controls since it is a FLY BY WIRE AIRCRAFT.  It reportedly split into two pieces.  Air traffic control lost radar contact with the aircraft.  Something doesn't sound right:
