Here is how military romantic scams work. They are deadly, they are very convincing, and the Federal crime agencies are nearly totally ignoring them. Many lives have been totally destroyed by these scams. The moral is this..... you are a fool to trust anyone you did not previously know on Facebook or other social media.
The author of this article composed a scam to prove how it is done. If you know anyone who has made a personal friendship on Facebook or social media, you need to convince them to read this. The whole motive is blackmail, AND IT WORKS.
