Is something wrong with the church?
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
--MATTHEWS 16.18
The verse above is explained by many that Peter the married fisherman was the first Pope or Pontiff or Holy Father or whatever you want to call the guy in Rome in his bathrobe. Surrender your will and your ten dollar bills to the church. What is the church? Is it that building with the steeple on it or is it the people?
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
--COLOSSIANS 1.18
The above verse explains that Jesus is the head of the body the church. But in many cases the head of the church is the Pope or some pastor or Bishop. So then is something wrong? Are the gates of hell prevailing against it?
Some follow Father YHWH and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit....

Most of the wicked fools today who declare God's statues don't even know what they're doing and God has already rebuked them:

The wicked fools today who wrest the scriptures to their own destruction continue to do it anyway and even many of them boast that they are "rightly dividing the word of truth" though they are careless and reckless fools who have not the wisdom of God to their own shame:
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
I CORINTHIANS 16.34
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
