The cops have already forgotten what it is to protect and serve (which takes real courage). They still love the rush of being law enforcement thugs though. Now the element of fear is setting in in the cities such as Detroit. Things are going to get interesting folks! For now the cops still can escape to rural America where they can join a nice Sheriff's Department or smaller town police force and get a good rush on harassing we the people in quieter community settings.
But I'm not sure if small town America is necessarily the place to be. The Soviet POLICE mindset is more so in rural areas where the police actually like to terrorize citizens by following them around and hiding in wait in the medians and corn fields to create revenue and make criminals out of citizens by their excessive desire to enforce a whole library of statues and ordinances to keep Americans in bondage and fear. That's why they are called LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS who are trained to go out and violate their oath of office on a regular basis and have forgotten what it means to be under the authority of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
I'll call it what it is: LAW ENFORCEMENT DISORDER. Put that in the DSM V:
