I was wrong about the DOCTRINE OF CHRIST: Pastor James W. Knox cleared it all up for me....

*****I STAND CORRECTED*****

*****SOUND DOCTRINE is NOT SOUND DOCTRINE ANYMORE....*****

Sound Doctrine...

...It's not what I thought it was:

Knowledge of the scripture is not it:

People want to look at us and see what we have:

If they (the unbelievers) see successful Christian people with families and a good life then they want to find out what you have. When they learn that it's JESUS then they all want JESUS and they will want to get saved. Otherwise those of us who don't have victory in our lives or obvious blessings for obedience just don't have it.

It's kind of like the DUCK DYNASTY boys who were praise by President Trump at a recent Trump Rally in West Monroe, Louisiana.  They were praised for being successful and Trump will take their lives as a testimony to sound doctrine and will believe on their Jesus:

For those of us who though we got saved and life has been a road of contention and conflict, it should be obvious that we are not right with God.

In his epistle to the Christians at Rome, the apostle Paul wrote, in Romans 6:17, of  “...that form of doctrine which was delivered to you”.  Using four specific cross references, Pastor James Knox reveals that form of doctrine to be “sound doctrine”, which speaks of our manner of life and behavior, and not simply “correct doctrine”, which merely refers to our intellectual knowledge of Bible facts.  Every Christian's manner of living should exemplify “sound doctrine” by walking in obedience to the word of God.
