ONE PROBLEM:
NATURAL GAS RUNS THE POWER PLANTS
I would actually like to see this shut down take place so the environmentalists have their way with an ELECTRIC ONLY future. The problem is natural gas is running the power plants now in many cases and more natural gas would be burned to compensate for more electric energy demand.
The only other way to compensate for this would be to put SILVER to use and create a mass amount of solar energy panels and batteries which would be even more dangerous than the proper safe and efficient use of natural gas. More batteries for necessary storage means also more dangerous chemicals to further pollute Mother Earth and then what would the wacky environmentalists would want eco-friendly batteries. And furthermore the cost would be incredible both to manufacture and to the consumer on such a large scale.
Prepare for a MASS EXODUS from California now as in Berkeley, California where they banned natural gas. The amount of cost of living is going to be incredible and the government will have to figure out how people will be able to pay utility bills to be able to live.
