The first time I was on an AIRBUS A320 back in 1993 it had some problems that even the pilot and co pilot had not idea after troubleshooting it en route to a destination. The plane was pitching up and down on auto pilot and they weren't too thrilled that they ended up having to hand fly the aircraft the rest of the way.
I don't trust the AIRBUS and like BOEING instead. The AIRBUS is like a flying computer with joysticks and there are some very unusual restrictions about it. I'm surprised Captain Sulley was able to hand fly one of these into the Hudson River.
