For now he's still here so maybe we will still have a few sermons left for edification. 

After these guys are gone you won't hear the word of the Lord much anymore. The Baptist preacher boys that are left are a useless bunch of hirelings for the most part that worship and serve Ruckman and their Baptist Heritage rather than holding the Head which is Christ Jesus:

A friend of mine who also knows what's going on today sent me two recent messages.  Please let me share them with you here:

MESSAGE 1:

We are right on schedule for the end times brother.

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Key word- seducers. We have many alleged pastors in allegedly Fundamental churches who are nothing but seducers.

Elizabeth and I are reading in Colossians, and this was what came up last evening:

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Notice in vs 16 and 18 the words, “Let no man.....” We are to neither submit to judgment nor submit to beguilement. Again, this is all about seduction, as in 2 Timothy above.

I would encourage you to deal with seducers, both the unrighteous of the world, and those in the Lord’s Church who parade under the pretext of being ministers.

I have recently leaned into John MacArthur anew. The man is really going into some wicked things. I knew him long ago, and he was not like that then. Men change.

Blessed be the man who ends where he started. J. Vernon McGee said long ago that it is not how a man starts out that counts. It is how he ends.

Let us end exalting Christ.

MESSAGE 2:


Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Verse 5- One Lord. We now have many lords.

1 Corinthians 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

There are more lords in Fundamental Baptist land in the USA then there are lords in the House of Lords in the British Parliament.

Every little popelette wants to be lord of the local church, or lord of some parachurch ministry.

As to James Knox, we all have some interpretation of some Bible text that differs with another. The issue is, are we willing to be rebuked or at least questioned? The evil comes when the answer is, “I am your pastor, and you need to submit.” At that point, the local church turns into a Hindu ashram instead of a church.

If you're really in Christ Jesus and you read the messages above you might consider not calling yourself a Baptist anymore or chasing the late Dr. Peter Ruckman around.  Why not exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and be found in Christ Jesus by faith?  I don't think God is a Baptist either and neither do I find any evidence of identifying with non-biblical terms in the scripture.
