The Maniac of Bjornlunda is MISSING:

[SERIOUS NOTE: We really hope John is OK and nothing terrible happened to him. He was one of the people we would see on GOOGLE HANGOUTS occasionally and (I'm not trying to be funny here) but he had an unusual style of life and he may have been struggling a bit with some things.
For those of you who have no idea about this post it is meant primarily for those who know the rest of the story.]
UPDATE: John is OK. He was on a two week cross country ski tour of Sweden...
