Navy Plane landing on the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER snaps cables and recovers

THIS IS WHY YOU GO TO FULL THROTTLE WHEN YOU LAND ON AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER. IT'S YOUR ONLY CHANCE SHOULD THIS HAPPEN:

Amazing footage of this E-2C HAWKEYE landing on the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER and a cable malfunction. The pilots drift off the end at full throttle and I GUARANTEE YOU WERE PROBABLY EVEN BELOW STALL SPEED as the plane settled into GROUND EFFECT just above the water. That was amazing and it came very close to a crash in the water:
