Woe be unto the pastors!
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
--ROMANS 16.18
Pastor Lankford says here:
"...Tonight we're hoping in the mercy of God...God is going to honor those who have fasted and prayed....blah...blah...David said, "Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning." And I'd like to change that word morning to mourning like M-O-U-R-N-I-N-G..."
Really pal? You're a fool! You change the word of God without fear don't you?
Pastor Lankford must have the authority to add to the words of God. By whose authority does he have this?
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
--PSALM 30.5
Here's a word from the LORD for Pastor Lankford:
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
