Shooting gestures are now being taken seriously especially after the Sandy Hook School shooting.  There are now potential terrorist threats from anyone including school children that will be taken seriously and a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY against finger pointing is now being enforced:

Threatening to shoot with your finger has now been a new rising terrorist threat across our nation.  Be on the lookout for potential terrorists and felony finger pointers.  And now they are pointing fingers in schools and teachers are feeling they might be threatened.  In this case I'm glad the teacher wasn't armed or we would perhaps have another dead child.  But this time it would have been the finger's fault.  Could it be possible a child might be shot someday for pointing his or her finger?  Or maybe we should just have all these good Soviets just cut off their fingers?
