Is everyone strung out on coffee?

The Coffee achievers argue on GMCR:

This market is absurd and with stocks like GMCR, NFLX, PCLN, GOOG, and AAPL running the market it's no wonder we don't have any industry with production here in the U.S.A.  There is no industrial revolution and everything is being farmed out to other countries while we all play Farmville and grow virtual cities on Facebook while awaiting the next useless IPO to come forward to trade.  There are no longer any investments that's for sure!  It's just one big Wall Street Casino of letter numbers and flashy quote lists and charts.

How long will the financially strapped consumers be able to keep drinking coffee from GMCR or SBUX, CBOU, or whatever else is out there?  Ever walk into a Starbucks or Caribou?  They are loaded with people and it usually looks like students sporting laptop computers deeply involved in study and their $7.00 "Bente" or whatever it's called.  Maybe that's it:  Is it the only resource the U.S.A. has is education and spending?  That cannot last.
