Did you GO TO CHURCH TODAY?

NO?

*****Did you miss church today?*****

I missed church today!

Just what is GOING TO CHURCH?

Should Christians go to church?

Here is THE FAMOUS "GO TO CHURCH VERSE" in THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized (King James) Version.  Although the word "CHURCH" is not in there:

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
-HEBREWS 10.23-25

Is CHURCH the place of EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER?

Are we to PROVOKE on another? Are we EXHORTING one another?

Provoke

PROVO'KEverb transitive [Latin provoco, to call forth; pro and voco, to call.]
1. To call into action; to arouse; to excite; as, to provoke anger or wrath by offensive words or by injury; to provoke war.
2. To make angry; to offend; to incense; to enrage.
Ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath. Ephesians 6:4.
Often provoked by the insolence of some of the bishops--
3. To excite; to cause; as, to provoke perspiration; to provoke a smile.
4. To excite; to stimulate; to increase.
The taste of pleasure provokes the appetite, and every successive indulgence of vice which is to form a habit, is easier than the last.
5. To challenge.
He now provokes the sea-gods from the shore.
6. To move; to incite; to stir up; to induce by motives. Romans 10:19.
Let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works. Hebrews 10:24.
7. To incite; to rouse; as, to provoke one to anger. Deuteronomy 32:21.
PROVO'KEverb intransitive To appeal. [A Latinism, not used.]

Exhort

EXHORT', verb transitive egzhort'. [Latin exhortor; ex and hortor, to encourage, to embolden, to cheer, to advise. The primary sense seems to be to excite or to give strength, spirit or courage.]
1. To incite by words or advice; to animate or urge by arguments to a good deed or to any laudable conduct or course of action.
exhort you to be of good cheer. Acts 27:22.
Young men also exhort to be sober minded.
EXHORT servants to be obedient to their masters. Titus 2:6.
2. To advise; to warn; to caution.
3. To incite or stimulate to exertion.
EXHORT'verb intransitive To deliver exhortation; to use words or arguments to incite to good deeds.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort Acts 2:40.

Just GO TO CHURCH!  You need it!

Lately I have to admit I DON'T GO TO CHURCH.  But what is GOING TO CHURCH?  Is it getting up with the family and getting the kids in the car and making it to the Sunday morning meeting time?  Is it making the Wednesday night meeting time or sometimes Thursday night meeting time?  Is it one of the COMMANDMENTS that I am to keep?

PASTORS watch our souls

I have learned that PASTORS are those that lead the CHURCH and THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WATCH OUR SOULS.  We who no longer submit to a pastor or go to church must be castaways or perhaps we never even are Christians to begin with?  Could it be so?  Perhaps we are LOST BELIEVERS too?  It surely is PERILOUS TIMES today and maybe this indeed is THE FALLING AWAY:

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
-HEBREWS 13.17

I know many Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, and Presbyterians that GO TO CHURCH and they do better than I have.  Thank God for them since they are obedient to GOING TO CHURCH.

So please pray for me because I WANT TO BE A GOOD CHURCH MEMBER which I am not at the present time.  I AM ENTIRELY DISOBEDIENT and perhaps I'M FALLING AWAY.

Even President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump along with Vice President Mike Pence and his wife went to church today.  Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner went to TEMPLE but everyone else went to CHURCH.
