We now have a situation where officers apparently ready to shoot drivers at traffic stops are holding back from shooting their suspects at traffic stops and end up getting pistol-whipped by the civilians because the civilians fear the police due to all the negative coverage rising across America.   You pretty much know the chances of dying at a traffic stop are rising given all the coverage of these police shooting unarmed civilian incidents across America.  It is interesting however that the cop in this story was just beaten with his gun instead of being shot.  Also notice how the Americans didn't even help the cop after he was beaten and unconscious.  Instead they took pictures of him and posted them on social media.

It is also somewhat peculiar that the subject who beat the officer was charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER.  We've seen so many police officers shoot unarmed citizens and they were cleared on conditions of ACTING IN SELF DEFENSE.   Is there a different set of rules between the police and we the people?  Maybe that was the interpretation by their county prosecuting attorney:

SOLUTION:  We need more OFFICERS OF COLOR

President Obama plans to improve these police community problems with more "officers of color."  He also plans on exploring alternatives to incarceration with pilot programs, task forces, and other community organizations to make things better:
