Congressman Steve Scalise remains in CRITICAL CONDITION

I want you leaders of America to know that ALL OF YOU IN WASHINGTON D.C. are in my prayers always and I have learned much from this event that has reestablished my honor to our leaders and elected representatives across this great nation:

People are praying across America for the family and colleagues of Congressman Steve Scalise and his family for their present distress and the current condition of their dad, husband, colleague, and friend and ask that God would multiply his grace, mercy, and peace in their time of need.

Whatever the outcome is in the aftermath of this shooting we know that our lives are but a vapour and appear for a moment and then vanish away.  May we all live to understand that and not only cherish this life but understand the important and weighter matters of a relationship with God that the promises of eternal life would not be ignored and that life which is to come.

One promise to those of us who believe God and on the righteousness of God our Saviour in Christ Jesus embrace is that this enemy of death is one day promised by God to be destroyed.  In the meantime we deal with death and although we cannot overcome our current appointment with death whether untimely or natural; we know of a certainty that death is swallowed up in victory in Christ Jesus. And one day not only this last enemy death shall be destroyed, but also death and hell shall be cast into the lake of fire.

Perhaps it's time to meditate on that more often not only to them that believe but to them that believe not that they might believe on the name of the only begotten Son of God the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Good to see you brother Scott Walker in the crowd there with President Trump! Take every opportunity you can to be a faithful witness in Christ to all those around you.)
