Beer, Cigarettes, and The Grace of God

The grace of God is how we are saved:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
---EPHESIANS 2.8

The power of God is how we are kept:

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
---I PETER 1.5

(I'm told this may be out of context and not apply to us Gentiles who are supposed to only follow our Apostle Paul.  I don't want to go there right now...)

And the grace of God teaches us:

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
---TITUS 2.11-15

Anything else is not even worth our time.  But in this body of flesh we still groan:

For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
---II CORINTHIANS 5.4

So what about beer and cigarettes?  They don't mean much. :-)
